We’re on the move!… and we’re moving Friday 8 March.
Its very exciting. We’ve boxed up our crayons and Etch A Sketches and we’re heading off to our new home, a lovely old farmhouse (with beams, fireplaces and a garden – no cows or goats though) in Hatch Warren, the other side of Basingstoke from where we live now.
We need to let you know that the 8th is going to be a ‘down day’ in terms of us ‘getting stuff done’. We’ll be available on the mobiles, but our servers will be in the back of a car heading across town. We appreciate this might not be ideal, so we’re letting you know now, just in case there’s any ‘screamers’ we need to sort before we pull the plug out Friday morning.
Our main line phone will also be down from end of play Thursday, but up and running again on Tuesday 12 March… and we’ll be on the same, tried and trusted 01256 334567 number. If you’re used to calling Rob, Jacqui, Ian, Lisa or Debbie on their DD’s then we’re sorry but we won’t have these any more (boo-hoo), but we’ll be in touch very soon with phone extensions so you can still go direct.
On Monday 11th, although we’ll be ‘fully armed and operational’ (like a Death Star), we can’t say the same for BT, so we won’t have any phones other than mobiles. We’re sure you’ve got them, but just in case, here’s the Escape mobile numbers you’ll need…
Rob – 07966 482263
Ian – 07799 622301
Lisa – 07715 102516
If you need a different Escapee, then take your pick of the numbers above and we’ll pass you over (after they’ve put down the cardboard box they’ll no doubt be carrying!)
And so you’ve got it, this is the address of our new pad…
The Escape, The Old Farmhouse, Hatch Warren Farm, Hatch Warren Lane, Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG22 4RA
What else do you need to know?
Not a lot really at this stage, other than we’re right next to a pub called The Portsmouth Arms (with a gate straight through from the end of our garden!)… so come and say hello, have the guided tour and we’ll go and grab a drink (it’d be rude not to really!).
If you’ve got any concerns or questions then give us a shout. If not, we look forward to welcoming you to our new ‘home sweet home’ soon.
Cheers for now
