This Week At The Escape
Rob and Lisa relived their own version of planes, trains and automobiles this week trying to get to Harrogate for the CIH Annual Conference, experiencing the joys of an internal flight. Guess which one was John Candy? Anyway, Lisa gave Rob a run for his money on the networking evening collecting cards and creating empties…
Simon spent the day at the home of great football - The Emirates - where we produced a video for Nimbus Partners for their 10th Annual Conference.
Our Seminars came to and end for 2007 with a session on pay-per-click. More next year but here’s what two attendees had to say:
I found the entire series of seminars to be invaluable – widening my awareness, knowledge and ability to expand the opportunities for building my enquiry base and ultimately achieving new customers!
I found them very beneficial and look forward to the seminars next year.
Talking of engagement, Lou had a new business meeting this week with Wonderful Life. Craig got quite excited as their business of professional hair products is very similar to his own love of beauty products. We are thinking of opening our own salon - what d’ya think?
Also, Jo has been discussing new projects for L&Q, Testway Housing and a new company called Decision Support Tools, part of The Woodhouse Partnership.
The studio have been working on some ideas for AQUiVO weather resistant LCD screens, including a very cool advert highlighting how good they will be for pubs post-smoking ban, which comes into force very soon.
And, talking of smoking, Daryll from Noggin came in this week and NLP’d and hypnotised Jacqui, Debbie and Steve to get them off the smokes. Steve has no nails left, Jacqui is up and down like a rollercoaster and Debbie seems to be taking it in her stride as far as I can see. The good news… they haven’t smoked since.
Maybe Debbie was just ‘relaxed’ after going to Escape client Kathryn’s Hen Night on Saturday night although she said it was a relaxed affair in Weybridge, sipping cocktails in the Lavish Lounge. Anyway, congrats to Kathryn for 7th July in Malta when she gets married to Paul. We’d come but we’re rocking at Basingstoke Live!
Meanwhile, Craig became an ‘expert’ on a panel in a magazine article for a Bank Of Scotland Business Magazine for Women - Big Fish (Issue 9) - even though he did admit to shaving a bit off his chubby cheek for the photograph. How vain - told you he was into all this beauty lark. We are suprised he didn;t have a St. Tropez tan before it was taken.
