Free EBooks From Google
Google Book Search is an excellent online research tool that allows you to search the contents of books. Upto now you have been able to read the pages of the scanned texts online but now google has gone one step further - PDF downloads.
Only titles which are copyright free (public domain) are available so you won’t find the latest Stephen King novel for download, but if you’re a fan of obscure texts or classic novels this is the place for you.
Simply visit www.books.google.com, select the "Full view books" search filter and search as you normally would. If the book is public domain you’ll more than likely be presented with the option to download a PDF copy.
It probably won’t ever replace traditional libraries, and that’s probably a good thing, but if nothing else this certainly is a very useful tool.
